Loov 有機非強化營養酵母富含氨基酸、葉酸、維他命B雜與纖維，味道濃郁與Parmesan芝士粉相若，用法也一樣，可隨意灑上食物或餐湯增添營養與香味。此北歐產品全天然，所謂「非強化」即沒有添加人造維他命或礦物質，並且不經基因改造，不含麩質，適合全素食人士。

營養酵母有別於焗麵包用的活性乾酵母或啤酒酵母，它是非活性的，不會被水分或糖分激活，亦不會繁殖。

Loov's organic non-fortified nutritional yeast is derived from a species of yeast known as Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and is rich in amino acids, folate, Vitamin B complex and fibre. Its taste is similar to Parmesan cheese and can similarly used by sprinkling on food and soups.  This product from Estonia is all natural, with "non-fortified" meaning no artificial vitamins or minerals have been added.  The yeasts are non-GMO, gluten and dairy free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians.  

Nutritional yeast is different from baker's yeast or brewer's yeast in that it is deactivated.  There are no live cells for leavening bread or brewing beer and will not multiply.
