Supafu Organic Artichoke Tea is a caffein free herbal tea known for its health benefits relating to the liver, kidneys and digestive tract.  It is made with the stems of artichokes grown in the producer's own artichoke farm in Nantou, Taiwan.  At an altitude of 1,650m, there is a wide diurnal range of temperatures on top of fertile soil, pristine water and plentiful sunshine to make for optimal growing conditions. The artichokes are grown without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides, and are certified organic by Taiwan Organic Production Association. 

Known as the "king of vegetables" in Mediterranean countries, artichoke is a super food rich in cynarin, chlorogenic acid, polyphenols, flavonoids, vitamin B, C and inulin, a water soluble prebiotic fibre. It has a long history as a valuable ingredient in European cooking and in health supplements.

Suggested Use : Soak teabag in hot cold water to make an infusion.  Can also drink as a cold brew.
